We use oil based primers and premium latex paints from
Behr, Benjamin Moore, Duron and Sherwin Williams that are
mildew resistant and environmentally friendly. We also use
the finest quality caulks and sealants.

 Prep
Work:
Meticulous preparation is vital to the durability of any
paint project. Inadequate prep work will inevitably cause
the final coat of paint to fail prematurely.
As our name implies, Prep-Rite Painting will take the time
necessary to prepare your home properly before a new finish
is ever applied. Our prep work includes:
Puttying all recessed holes
Applying tape and plastic as needed
Scraping of all loose or peeling paint
Sanding with electric sanders as needed
Oil based priming (new and bare wood)
Caulking vertical seams and all cracks
Cleaning off gutters with degreaser
Removing shutters and cleaning behind them
Wiping clean all loose debris
Inspection of prep work by the customer, if requested
Clean up:
All windows are checked to ensure mobility
All shutters are re-hung
Walk around of premises for material debris
Leftover paint will be given to the homeowner for future
reference
 Final
Inspection:
Prep-Rite Painting will do a final walk through with the
homeowner to ensure satisfaction. Touch-ups will be completed
as necessary. The final payment is due at this time.
Payment Options:
A material deposit is required to ensure a scheduling date*.
Prep-Rite Painting accepts cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard.
We also offer financing, which offers
a 6-month same as cash interest free agreement. Please ask
us for details.
* Scheduling dates could change due to weather and job
amendments. The customer will be kept informed of any scheduling
changes.
